Project Overview

The Jericho 7.5 MWp Utility-Scale Solar Plant represents one of Abaad Jordan for Construction (A.C.C.)’s most significant contributions to Palestine’s renewable energy transformation.
Developed for Massader for Natural Resources & Infrastructure Development, the project underscores A.C.C.’s capability in executing large-scale, high-efficiency solar facilities designed for optimal performance in the challenging desert environment of the Jordan Valley.

Strategically located in Jericho, one of the world’s lowest and sunniest regions, the plant maximizes solar irradiance to deliver clean, reliable power while advancing the national energy strategy toward sustainability and independence.

Scope of Work

  • Complete EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) works for a 7.5 MWp photovoltaic power plant
  • Supply and installation of high-efficiency PV modules and central inverters to ensure maximum energy yield
  • Construction of mounting structures, electrical substations, and control systems
  • Development of civil, structural, and electrical infrastructure, including access roads and site preparation
  • Integration of SCADA monitoring and grid interconnection systems
  • Coordination with local authorities and client representatives to ensure compliance with international standards

Key Highlights

  • One of the largest solar installations in the Jericho region, supporting national renewable energy goals
  • Designed for high energy output and long-term operational stability
  • Built under strict environmental and safety standards
  • Supports Palestine’s sustainable development agenda and reduces dependency on imported energy
  • Demonstrates A.C.C.’s growing expertise in utility-scale solar plant design and execution
